I don’t know what I’m doing . . .

I’ve always loved looking at gardens. In fact, I’ve often dreamt of having one of those picture perfect gardens. Just one little thing is holding me back . . . I really don’t have the green thumb.

Every plant I’ve tried to maintain in my house, has died. I can only keep the fake ones looking nice. (When I remember to dust them). I have a ledge in my home where I planted bamboo plants around some candle holders. It started to look really nice. Then they just up and died. Now my ledge looks boring with just the candle sticks.

Since I have more time on my hands, I’m really going to attempt to focus on gardening and achieving ‘green-thumb’ status, like my dad. Yes, he is a successful gardener. He makes it look easy. But clearly, there is more to gardening than planting the seed and watching it grow.

Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about gardening.

But I’m going to grow a garden.

I’m also going to focus on growing some herbs INSIDE my home. We use around six herbs religiously in our recipes, and fresh is always best.

My week of watching gardening vlogs on YouTube has given me some great ideas that I can’t wait to start creating!
